English Paper Piecing 3 Ways

English Paper piecing is a fun and easy way to make a hand stitched quilted creation. This technique lends itself to precise piecing with low effort and no sewing machine required.

There are many ways to approach English Paper Piecing (EPP) and Kathy will show you different ways to approach each step so you can practice and choose the methods you prefer.

All materials will be provided with the exception of the following:

Required Supplies:

  • Scissors

Optional Supplies:

  • Thimble if desired

  • If you have fabrics you would like to use, feel free to bring your own. Pieces should be at least 2.5" square.

Bio:

Katherine has been sewing for more than 40 years making garments and quilts. After discovering English Paper Piecing in 2021, the slow stitching technique became part of her regular practice. She has a passion for sharing information and, in particular, showing multiple ways to achieve a desired outcomes.
